The DL: After days of savory snacking, we were pining for something to sate our collective sweet tooth. Enter Isabella's Cooking Company, which sent us products from its vegan cookie line—an act that caused a chorus of cheers to erupt throughout VNHQ. Some VN staffers are eagerly anticipating the arrival of The Hunger Games (starring vegan actor Woody Harrelson!), which hits theaters tonight at midnight, but there are several other intriguing movies out this spring. The DL: Today was a day of spicy deliveries, both literally and figuratively. We hope the phrase "big things come in small packages" rings true with this Creole seasoning, giving a normal meal of rice and beans a Cajun kick. While some of us are simple/lazy/untalented chefs, VN Editorial Assistant Hilary's "rice and beans" is "homemade gnocchi and heirloom tomato salad."
