Down to Cocomo(Joe)
The Delivery: Assorted Cocomo Joe Foods bars, granola, and popcorn
Staff Pick: The caramel corn!
The DL: We first tasted this new line of vegan bars, granola, and popcorn at Expo West, and let's just say that we wouldn't mind taking this caramel popcorn down to Bermuda (or Bahama). If you can't make it to Key Largo or Montego, be sure to check out The Healthy Voyager's top 10 foodie and green spring break destinations over on VegNews.com. All of us here at VegNews wish you a happy weekend!

Vegan Cookbook, Granola, and Pickles
The Delivery: Pickled veggies from Donovan's Cellar, granola and a T-shirt from Kind Healthy Grains, and Wild About Greens by Nava Atlas
Staff Pick: Nava Atlas' cookbook
The DL: It’s long been established that greens are a vital part of a plant-based diet—as Bianca Phillips points out in her feature 7 Steps to Becoming a Healthier Vegan, leafy vegetables such as kale and collards are a great source of calcium, and therefore crucial for optimum health. From what we can tell, Nava Atlas’ book seems to be a great jumping-off point for incorporating more greens into your diet. If getting healthy means munching on Atlas’ Tostadas with Chili-Spiced Greens and Potatoes and Cumin-Roasted Cauliflower and Kale, then we’re heading to the market ASAP to gather as many leafy greens as we can carry. In addition to Atlas’ book, which comes out this summer, there are tons of great vegan cookbooks on the horizon for 2012. Check out our picks here!

Raw Snacks and Hemp Seeds
The Date: Thursday, August 18
The Delivery: Tins filled with raw macaroons, granola, and candied pecans from Hail Merry and Hemp Hearts sprouted hemp seeds and a t-shirt from Manitoba Harvest
Staff Pick: The pecans! Lots of 'em!
The DL: We first fell in love with Hail Merry at last year's Expo West, and rekindled our love at 2011's show as well (What can we say? The raw tarts are killer). Well, looks like it happened again. Hail Merry's tin of lemon thyme, orange rosemary, chimayo chili, and chocolate chili pecans look so good, our next taste test might be more of an inhale test. Let us know what you love in The VegNews Veggie Awards!

Pretty Purses

The Delivery: Energy On The Glo bars and granola and two crafty bags
Staff Pick: The chic Enju bag shown below
The DL: These bags are handmade by a vegan-owned company, and we definitely approve. They have a simple and classic look, which we think works well when strolling around town.

Macaroon Madness

The Delivery: Granola and macaroons from The Greenwood Kitchen
Staff Pick: The Mint Chip Macaroons
The DL: Some VN staffers—not to name any names—have a thing for the color green, hence the staff pick. Not to mention that mint-chocolate-chip is one of the best flavors in the world, which is why we can't wait to give these naturally colored macaroons a try!
If you're in the San Francisco Bay area tonight, come out to SF Vegan Drinks. You don't want to miss it!
