The DL: This galley of John Schlimm (aka The Tipsy Vegan)’s Grilling Vegan Style couldn’t have arrived at a more appropriate time. With dishes like a blooming onion with tangy sauce and jalapeño poppers stuffed with rice and black beans, the chapter on New Tailgating Classics got us revved up and ready for this weekend’s Super Bowl festivities. Though, admittedly, not all of us are sure which teams are even playing this year, if there are seitan wings and spinach dip involved, you better believe we’ll be celebrating well past halftime on Sunday. The DL: We here at VegNews are pretty loco for coconuts these days. From our new Food Feature extolling coconut's many culinary and bodily benefits to This Week's Must Have (chocolate coconut milk, anyone?), this fuzzy brown gem is constantly in our thoughts. Enter: Stonehouse 27's new cilantro and coconut cooking sauce with hints of lemon and ginger. We can't wait to see what this sauce can do to a plate of veggies, and are happy that we get to keep this coconut kick going. Now, if only we had some of that Coconut Bliss ice cream left....

The DL: The holidays might technically be over, but that doesn't stop the steady stream of gifts from flooding into the VNHQ each day. OK, maybe technically they aren't gifts—they are, in fact, products for review—but opening the big delivery boxes certainly feels like opening presents. Today, we were thrilled to discover a huge box from So Delicious that contained a selection of the company's Coconut Milk line, plus a sweet Hamilton Beach blender and a fancy glass. Trying to decide what to pick was tough, so we went with the mini-milks, since three flavors are better than one. Today, for the first time ever, we feel like Jillian Michaels might be jealous of us!

Going Coconuts!

The DL: Yes, that is vegan kefir you see below, and a strawberry-flavored one at that. Turtle Mountain has been busting out coconut-milk products left and right, which we think is totally awesome! Now if you'll excuse us, we're going to dive into this coconutty goodness.
