The DL: What a bummer! All that chocolate and only the cocoa powder is vegan. Not to fear, however, because we love slurping up delicious peanut noodles from a cute bowl almost as much as chocolate. Plus, there's always the VegNews Store, filled with marzipan bars, candy bars, and vegan marshmallows, not to mention our brand new July+August issue. Candy and VegNews? Now that's a package we'd like to see in the mail every day.

Sweets and a Garden

The DL: Some days, such as today, we have exciting shipments that include everything from an urban garden to vegan coconut milk caramel. While we can't wait to set up the garden on our new offices' patio, JJ's Sweets had us at caramel. We kind of have a thing for caramel, as evidenced in our current November+December Veggie Awards issue, which boasts a drool-worthy caramel feature including both sweet and savory recipes of the caramelized sugar kind. If only we could grow caramel in our UrBin Grower; all would be right in the world!

The DL: It's no secret around here—the VN staff is in love! With Go Max Go Foods' Candy Bars, that is. We've fallen head over heals for these rice-milk chocolate coated nuggets of rich, gooey goodness. Although we've already sampled the launch version of these treats, we think we better taste-test these newly-outfitted versions to confirm product consistency. Can't wait to try these yourself?
