Vegan Soaps and Frozen Pizza

The Delivery: Assorted soaps, shave gels, and lotions from Dr. Bronner's Magic All-One; and vegan cheese and veggie lover's pizzas from Bold Organics
Staff Pick: Veggie pizza yeah!

The DL: Our dearest (fictional) friend Liz Lemon once said "'Lovers' … Oh, that word bums me out unless it's between 'meat' and 'pizza.'" Just throw "veggie" in place of "meat" and we're right there with you, Liz. We haven't been this excited since we found out earlier this week about our exclusive giveaway from Matt & Nat: You can score one of the vegan company's bags from its not-yet-launched spring collection! And did you hear Matt & Nat is also on Gilt Group today? Everything is awesome. Unless you get pizza sauce on your brand-new Matt & Nat bag. That would definitely bum us out.

Beauty Products

The Delivery: Lotion, bath salt, and nail polish from SpaRitual
Staff Pick: Organic moisturizing lotion made with Chinese jasmine

The DL: Cold weather tends to cause many people to suffer from dry skin, but using lotion like this will help you brave the outdoors and enjoy the serenity blanketing most of the country, especially the northeast, this time of year. In fact, now is the absolute perfect time to visit Upstate NY—the peaks of the Catskill Mountains are likely white with snow, rescued animals await visitors in their cozy sanctuary barns, and the delicious vegan food will surely warm you inside and out. Check out this handy guide for all of the perfect places to go in Saugerties and Woodstock. If you can’t get away for a weekend retreat, stay inside and work on your favorite cookie recipe for the VegNews Holiday Cookie Contest, instead—the top prize is a KitchenAid mixer!

Vegan Skincare

The Delivery: Hydrating body wash and lotion from 100% Pure
Staff Pick: The body wash

The DL: It is 80+ degrees here at the VNHQ, leaving most of the staff thinking about air conditioning and popsicles. This body wash, which smells just like a slice of key lime pie on a summer day, makes us want to stop everything, go home, and hang out by the pool (that none of us actually have). Perhaps a slice of chilled key lime pie will magically appear post-pool party? A magazine staff can dream. We're also dreaming about tomorrow night's Twitter Chat with Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero, where we'll talk pie (key lime included!) as we explore the duo's new book, Vegan Pie in the Sky. Join us tomorrow at 6pm PT!

a
The DL: We don't know about all of you out there in Internetville, but we are proud to say that we always have a monster appetite. From birthday cakes to deep-dish pizza, there's no plate we can't tackle. And this new cookbook is no different: We can't wait to try out Chorizo Flautas, Hawaiian Benedict, and Peanut Butter Rocky Road Pound Cakes. For breakfast.
