The Date: Friday, April 29
The Delivery: Kale chips in assorted flavors from Kaia Foods, spicy Nacheez from Love & Joy Foods, and vegan shoes from The Earthly Sole Shoe Company
Staff Pick: The vegan nacho cheese!
The DL: VN Associate Editor Jennifer Chen met the geniuses behind this vegan nacho cheese at last week's Berkeley Vegan Earth Day event, and boy, are we happy for that occurrence (want to read more about Jennifer's day? Read all about it on this week's Press Pass). We can't wait to taste test this new vegan nacho cheese, and plan to try it out on tortillas, chips...maybe even our fingers. We here at VNHQ wish you a great weekend, and hope wherever you are has both springtime sunshine and vegan nacho cheese.

Seeds and Reads

Date: Monday, February 8
The Delivery: A variety of snack-time goodies from Kaia Foods, two non-fiction books, Sistah Vegan and Radical Vegetarianism, and Valentine's Day Vegan Chocolates.
Staff Pick: Kaia Foods garlic and sea salt sprouted sunflower seeds
The DL: We're totally excited to try the different sweet and savory snacks sent from Kaia Foods! Here at the VNHQ we've never met a garlicky food we didn't like, so we're especially looking forward to tasting Kaia's garlic and seat salt sprouted sunflower seeds. These seeds are not only organically grown and seasoned, but they pack three grams of protein a serving—assuming you limit yourself to just one.
