A Dream Come True

Date: Tuesday, November 3
The Delivery: A couple Shaman Chocolate bars, several tubs of We Can't Say It's Cheese, and some crazy-good cookie dough
Staff Pick: The peanut-butter-chocolate-chip cookie dough from EatPastry

The DL: Yes, that is a jar of vegan cookie dough that you see, and yes, we have already started to devour it. This genius product can be baked into cookies, but we say hold the heat and bring on the spoons. Delish!

I'd love to try ALL of that! I've heard the cheese is good.

Seriously? A jar of pre-made cookie dough? Because it's so hard to mix the ingredients together to make homemade? Way to encourage consumption of packaging waste...

I agree with Anonymous. I make vegan, gluten-free cookies every weekend. They're ever so easy, and I control what goes into them. The only thing going to the landfill is the vegan margarine wrapper. C'mon, people!

Melisser—we just tried the cheese, and have to say, it is really good! Anon and Jenna, we love the fact that the cookie dough makes it easier for people who might otherwise purchase traditional cookies to choose a vegan option. Of course, the jar is recyclable, and will make a reusable container when it's empty. (Which will be soon. We're hooked!)
