The DL: We've had a very special day here at VNHQ, what with our incredible Thanksgiving luncheon featuring the unrivaled Native Foods Wellington, so with food on the brain, it seems only fitting that we receive this shipment of gluten-free cookie mixes and the most adorable curry gift pack from Curry Love. The box included a candle, a beer, a white basmati rice along with their scrumptious-sounding Banana Ginger curry sauce. Back to the luncheon, Associate Publisher Colleen Holland also whipped up her incredible Holiday salad and a Pumpkin Cake with Vanilla Buttercream, both of which are from recipes in the VegNews Holiday Cookbook, and both of which are unbelievably delicious. The DL: With so many wonderful new products that Expo West had to offer, it's really too bad that we have to pick only twelve for the VegNews Best of Show Awards. Here are a handful of items scheduled to hit store shelves in 2009. The trail mix in particular has been especially satisfying during our Raw Week at the VNHQ.

The DL: Ever since Editorial Assistant Abby's first brunch, the VN staff has wanted more, and boy are we in luck. Pancake connoisseurs we shall be once we get through all of these.
